So last night I popped out some primers. 10mm. Boom easy peasy. Dropped them in the tumbler. Ran it awhile. Get up this morning. Run a huge batch of 9mm in the wet tumbler. Separate the pins and set cases out to dry. Then I pop them in the tumbler (I know I just like em shiny). Realized after the fact that the 10mm are still in there but figured what's a few more hours. Then when I go to Separate the media (and 9s from 10s) that the 9s weren't completely dry. Now I've got 1k 9mm cases with corn cob stuck inside. Ugh. To scrape it out or chuck it? Damn, is it Monday?

Does corn cob float? Sink ‘em in a tub.

If you like them shiny and clean, run them with pins till they’re clean then separate them and wet tumble them again without pins.

Super bling, no cob, and especially no wet cob.

Empty the media from your tumbler and toss the 9mm in. Run it for a bit and check the progress. You may have to dry them out in the sun first. I'd give it a shot the way they are.

Well.... honestly I forgot the cases were in the tumbler again. You'd think I was twice my age. When I remembered them last night I went in and ran the unit for about 20 minutes then checked the cases. Apparently the cob dried out and came right out. Not a bit still stuck. So I suppose the issue resolved itself.
