One Shot Stops - Who is the authority?

I've been away from the controversy since 2003 and I was wondering who is the current guru of the "One Shot Stop"?

Can you also tell me why the current guru's info, if it's not Marshall & Sanow, is better? Any links would be appreciated too.

IMO - nobody is the authority, and the notion of a one-shot stop is a logical fallacy.
