I realize that carrying pepper spray in a pocket is convenient. And that if you have your hand on it in your pocket, that can make it fast to bring into action. But I find that limiting. So I decided a few weeks back to try something different (and have been carrying daily like this since).
Appendix weak side carry. The Paracord tassel goes down between the belt and pants, where the friction of the knots holds it in place well. The spray can be grabbed easily and pulled up (pulling the cord loose from between the pants and belt). It's fast and convenient to access. No need to stuff a hand in a pocket when it might be needed for something else at a moments notice.
