The problem with buying a Remington firearm in the first place is that they have proven that they think it's just fine if you buy one of their guns (597) on Monday, they tell you it's not safe and not to shoot it on Tuesday, and then they offer you a coupon for about half the price of your now unusable and maybe unfired gun towards the purchase of another of their firearms.

How does this work, exactly? I bought an 870 at the end of November, so I'm assuming I download this, fill it out with whatever information, then send it in to them?
