Open Sights ?

I have a old savage 340 with the dockendorff sights and it shots about 3'' to the left at 50 yards. I don't see anyway to adjust the sight from left to right or is there a way? Is there any after market sights that will fit on it? Thanks, Gary.

It's been a long time, but doesn't that rear sight mount to the barrel in a dovetail? If so, then you should be able to drift the entire rear sight to the right , with a brass punch and small hammer.

If either the front or rear sight is fitted in a dovetail, you should be able to follow Joe's advice. To move bullet impact to right, drift rear sight to Right OR drift front sight to Left.

Thanks, for all the help. After looking at it the rear sight, it does move on a dovetail. Now I'm ready to go back to the range.
