I've been doing a bunch of AR shooting from a static position lately and the gas has been bothering me. I never really noticed it when shooting ARs upright and on the move but prone and in the same position is really bothering me after several rounds.

Never paid much attention to the PRI gas buster before because the gas never got to me but now I'm all for anything that might help.

Anyone have any experience with these things? Do they work as advertised?

The PRI is maybe a good bandaid for another problem. I would check the end of the gas tube and the Key for proper matchup, cracks or even a loose key. There will always be a little escaping gas in the upper, but if you are noticing it sounds like a bit more than normal.

Do you shoot lefty????? AR's shoot a lot of gas out on lefties.

The gas buster handle works pretty sweet, I never notice.
heck, just for it's solidity and better built feeling it's worth the money.
much less cuz it shoves gas away.

An old (and inexpensive) trick is to apply a small amount of RTV silicone or similar to the top of the charging handle. You want just enough to form a gasket but not enough to hinder operation of the handle. This is neither a permanent nor a 100% effective solution but it will help a "gasser" some.
