I'm thinking an AR build in the future. More like just putting an upper and lower together, then put some other junk on it.

I want to put a rail system on it, But I don't like the idea of having to removing the front sight or barrel to put on a free float rail. Thats why I'm looking at the GG&G Modular Tactical Free Floating Forearm, which I believe I could easily install myself.

I'm looking at getting my upper and lower from CMMG Inc. They seem like a good company. Still debating on what type of front sight I want. Leaning to your normal front sight w/ bayo lug.

Does anyone have any experience with GG&G's Modular Tactical Free Floating Forearm? I have a GG&G adaptor on my HK USP, and I like their work.

I've got one. I think it's great. You can mount a Surefire easily with no other accessories than what comes in the kit (well, you gotta buy some rings). But the added angles for the rails puts the flashlight in a natural position for your thumb. And the rail is solid as hell. Get one. Better than the KAC, in my opinion, and less expensive, too.
