I've been thinking of putting on bolt-on rails on my AR-15 like this one from GG&G - the AR-15 Under Forearm Integrated Rail (UFIR) -http://www.gggaz.com/index.php?id=49&parents=38,44
It attaches to the underside of the normal M4 handguards. I'd like to try adding a vertical grip onto it - it seems more ergonomic. Plus it seems more economical than getting a quad-rail free-floating system. And I'm not planning on adding a light or laser yet.
Anyone use these or something similar?
