Opinions on Kahrs

Have any of you had any amount of misfires with your Kahrs with any particular brand of ammo, either factory or reloads? If reloads, what primers were being used?

I ask, because on rare occassions my P45 will not ignite one of my reloads with Win primers and my Cobra Patriot 45 will misfire a great many. Only when I tried some Federal primers did the Patriot perform reasonably well. FWIW, put the misfires in my 1911 and each went bang every time. WWB works fine in the Kahr but not in the Patriot. Obviously something to do with striker fired guns, the Kahr being better than the Patriot.

My MK9 has been very reliable and I have probably shot 1000 rounds of +P. Nice little gun for when I can carry my 45.

I had a case of Remington UMC that frequently failed to fire in my PM9 and my wife's EMP. The primer strikes were fine. Sometimes a second strike would fire them and sometimes not. The same ammo in our full size 1911's never failed to fire.
