I am interested in the weapon, in either a .308 or more likely a .30-06. Does anyone have one that is willing to share their experience or opinions of it?
They don't make the 4x4 in a .308, so if those are the only two calibers on your list... that choice is easy.
I have the 100 ATR and it is very accurate, the 4x4 is pretty much the same with a nicer stock and a drop magazine.
I've shoudered one at Gander Mnt down in PA, if felt incredible!! I want one in .25-06 with the nickel plate and the Laminate stock, the only trouble is, aroung here they only carry .270 or .30-06....
Supposedly, the newer triggers are miles ahead of when they first came out, the one on my ATR isn't bad, though...
this is one of those deals , where , like a cz rifle, you feel you got more than your money's worth. innovative, howa-like, bedded stock, built in sling studs. forged bolt pieces. I would deff get the kids one, in 243, with the full size spacers that come with, to grow into adults size.
