i think there is definitly a market for your work. it is quite good. not my style, but taste is an individule thing. i am quite coservative, and laid back. and skulls and crossbones dont do much for me. but there are plenty of people who really like it. the top 4 of the custom pistol cases are more my style, but right now, i am not in the market. i think you will do well. good luck.

Thanks moooose102, What would be good Ideas to put on holsters and cases? I know I am stuck in the biker seen. LOL But I can do anything i can see. I have only done one animal so far. This is a grizzley bear wallet I did.

any Ideas?

Thanks hso

I agree with some of the posters' comments that skulls and such are of limited appeal (particularly in our litigious culture), but what about more wildlife? I like the bear wallet; what about hunting holsters?

I might be interested in a holster for my Ruger Super Blackhawk adorned with a deer/woods scene. I'm sure there are a number of other handgun hunters who would like to see their favorite quarries on their holsters. Have you thought about going that direction?

I see this as BIG. You, my friend, may want to sit down and contemplate the business end of this. I can easily see you getting swamped beyond your ability to keep up with orders.

Really beautiful work. Consider the THR discount, for those who recognize your genius.:D

I'd take a look at providing college/sports logos on firearm related leather goods. Few things bring up as much passion as either where one went to college or their favorite pro team. Combine those with shooting and you've got a market that would be huge.

I could really see a problem with being able to license team logos, especially college ones, for firearm related products. You know how those university types are with their political correctness. Maybe don't sell them as "pistol cases", but just as "cases". And advertise on gun sites. That way you don't have to ask some NCAA egghead to put his brand on an instrument of mass murder (in his eyes).

That bear is amazing! The depth and detail are such that I feel like I could reach down his throat and feel his teeth on my wrist. Its so lifelike it almost breathes.

My personal taste runs to pink, purple, roses, other realistic flowers, western dragons (as opposed to oriental dragons), fantasy landscapes, and birds but I'm probably not your prime target market.

I'd have to think that wildlife would sell well for you since you've got the talent for making things so lifelike.

Sir:
Please consider tooling up an option for rifle cheek rests.
God has blessed you with real talent.
Congratulations.

Thanks I'm Your Huckleberry, Rifle cheek rests?

Very Impressive work. I think the integrated wood and leather 1911 grips sound amazing.

I hope you are ready with a new business plan, because this could be really big.

Thanks XD Fan, I already started looking for grips I can work with.:D

Thanks Flyboy, I can go in any direction you guys like. The wallet was for a customer that liked grizzley bears:D Post some pictures you think would be cool.

At the risk of sounding pseudo-hip-hop, Doze cases iz da BOMB! You gotta sell those online.

Thanks Blackbeard, I will as soon as I get more done. If you see one you like let me know.

Thanks Blofeld, I hope this works out. The only bad thing is that I do all the tooling and painting. I have friends that sew. If I ever get that busy. The THR discount is available. Really it allways has been.:D The more work I can do now. The more work I can show others. What I have done. But you have to remember this stuff takes time.

Thanks JackBurtonJr, Well I thought of one better. NRA lifetime member cases, and holsters:eek: That would be when I would be totally swamped.
I have the idea down. This would be away to boost my buisness and raise money for the NRA. I just haven't talked to the NRA yet.

Also gun clubs, Ranges, manufactures. the possiblities are endless. As far as going after colleges. I can not reproduce there logo in mass. (TM laws) If someone asked me to make one for them I can. Then it would be custom and not manufactured.

I have done flowers to.

Here's what I want. I want a pair of holsters and magazine holders that make it look like I'm not wearing a gun. They have to blend into my jeans. Kind of an open carry concealed holster.

Perhaps a holster with an outer covering of denim?

Really nice work there, maybe Ill think of something I'd like.

I believe I'm Your Huckleberry was refering to something along the lines of these:http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/templates/links/link.jsp?type=product&cmCat=Related_IPL_228027&id=0005794220711a&cmCat=netcon&cm_ven=netcon&cm_cat=Google&cm_pla=leather%20rifle%20cheek%20rest&cm_ite=netcon

I hope that works. I have not tried inserting links before.

That is some very nice work there Pure Kustom. I have tinkered with leather working and can fashion a functional item, but I exhibit a complete lack of your artistic talent.

Thanks RaspberrySurprise, That would work!! stealth holster:D

How about a rifle or shotgun case or do you prefer to stick to smaller items?
Zip

Thanks Zipperhead, I can do that. I don't really prefer smaller Items. But they are quicker.:D

Just beautiful!

You're wonderfully gifted.

Thank you 3KillerBs

Thanks Fergy35, I can do something like that. There is so many things that can be made with leather. It's just figureing out the patterns first:eek: Thanks again. The function is just as important as the artistic side. The only way to learn both is to practice practice practice.

Here is the holster I started the other day. It is for my 625.

The last picture shows Velcro. It can be velcroed on it's counter part. That loops to a belt. Or looped on a belt. To be more secure.

Please quit laughing at my wooden gun. lol Now I need to get a RUGER LCP.
It is made from the dementions of one. What do you members think? It is a prototype. Someone asked me to do a one sided right hand holser. This one is two sided and can be used by both right hand or left..

I am still going to make a one sided one. Because of cost. But what are your honest opinions on this. I could actually make these wallets. With card holders and a cash pocket. Would that be a good idea?

But what are your honest opinions on this.

Very good... just make absolutely sure that you don't make a wallet holster that you can actually fire the gun from without removing it from the holster. You'll possibly be in deep kimchee with the AFT goons.

I don't think this is a good idea. When I am reaching for my money I don't want to deal with my gun also. With the same thinking, when I need my gun I don't want anything else to possibly get in my way.

Thanks for the heads up JackBurtonJr, I made them so you have to pull them. trigger is completely covered.:D I did that so no accidents can happen either.:D

Good point.

They are definately really cool. If I had a pistol I would want one of those wallet looking ones.

So, are you going to turn this into a business venture?
