Greetings,

I am curious if anyone has experience in shooting both a DW Valor and Wilson CQB. If so how do they stack up relative to eachother with repect to fit, finish, manufactuing tolerances and overall shooting accuracy?

Thanx

I think the DW is a better looking gun. I like the clean lines and lack of front slide serrations. Unfornuately, I have never handled or shot one.
Of the big semicustom 1911's that I have handled and and shot, I like Ed Brown better than Wilson or Baer.

The tolerances (Slide to frame)of my Dan Wesson are tighter than I have seen on any gun including Baer, Brown, or Wilson. The differences are in the small details (trigger, sharp edges, GS fit, etc.) In those respects, my Kimbers beat it. My Kimbers outshoot the Dan Wesson from a rest or free hand. That being said, the DW has the better customer service and it sure is purdy. If I had the money, I would have a Wilson, Baer or Brown, but Kimber, Colt, Sprinfield, and Dan Wesson are all in the same league in my opinion.
