Ordered a CZ-82, need holster recs

I just ordered (hasn't come in yet) a CZ-82 (same as a CZ-83, but milsurp instead of commercial market), and I intend to use it as a carry pistol. What holsters can you guys recommend?

Bagmaster makes a holster that will fit the pistol. The NX and the OM. Both are generic cordura holsters with a spare mag pouch and an adjustable retension strap. I don't use mine for CCW, so I don't know how well they would work.

As the owner of both a CZ82 and a Makarov, I'd suggest a leather open-top IWB or OWB from Don Hume - the slides and trigger guards are similar enough that I think the CZ will carry OK in the Makarov holster. (Wish I could tell you definitely, but I don't CCW either the CZ or the Mak yet.) I recommend trying before buying if possible at a local Don Hume stocking dealer.

I recently did the same search. To add to the challenge I'm a lefty. I ended up going with a CZ83 Ross Leather holster from CCWsupply.biz

I had some problem with my initial order, first the factory was backordered, then I ended up with a right handed model. However, the owner of CCWsupply had me mail it back, refunded my mailing costs, and called me when he had the replacement holster in the mail to me. Can't complain about his customer support. The fit and finish is very good, I'm quite satisfied with it.

I took a Don Hume JIT for the Mak and fit my CZ 82 to it.

It holds well. While I wish it has a little more leather around the trigger guard, it is retained very well.

Since the wet stretching, the Mak will no longer fit, but for less than 20 bucks, it works great.

One of the things I like about the DH JIT holsters is that the various guns ride high and close to the body.
