CZ 82/83 Size

Are the CZ 82 and 83 the same gun, with the 83 just having different calibers offered? In other words, will an 82 properly fit in a holster designed for an 83, as I have found many for the 83, and none for the 82.

90% sure they are both exactly the same except for caliber and rifling and the trigger guard. The trigger guard is flat on the forward part according to some pictures I have seen.
Same holsters as I understand it despite the different trigger guard. I only have the 82, but when I went looking for a holster the 82 and the 83 were listed together on a few of them for what fits in what.

I think the only differences are found on internal parts. Holsters should be completely interchangeable.

on some holsters the CZ82 with the square trigger guard won't fit the CZ83 holster. the 82 with the rounded trigger guard will fit. jwr

Some CZ 83s have the rounded trigger guard, same as the CZ 82, but most are squared. Other than sights, trigger guard and the slide stop spring, I can't think of any other differences.

They are the same gun. Only difference, the 82 was issued in the Czech Army.

Earlier models do. Later models (begun sometime in the 90s?) have the squared version.
