The trigger was much nicer than I was expecting as well (noticeably nicer than the rental Bushmaster I was using while mulling over whether to own an AR).

I've noticed this as well - the PSA standard trigger is excellent for a standard AR trigger. Not particularly light, but very smooth and pretty crisp.

Snowdog, I agree, that is an exceptional group from your wife! Good for her! I think it really is key that our wimmen-folk enjoy themselves, as I think it makes them much more apt to practice and stay proficient.

Sadly, no I haven't shot it yet. My wife's been working late the last few weeks, and as such, I'm on kid/dinner/homework detail until after next week when her project finishes up. I'm going to try to find some time this weekend though, depending on our schedules/kitchen re-building projects.

Glad to hear this is! I'd heard several positive reviews, but I'm a big believer in "you never know till you try it" when it comes to trigger feel.
