Ordered something through NRA.com...

Well, I ordered a NRA hat (my new shooting hat) and some ear plugs about 4 weeks ago....I called two weeks ago and they said it was scheduled to get here last Tuesday. Today (the Tuesday after it was suppose to be here) I decide that even though I like the merchandise, I probably will not order from them again because 3+ weeks to get items to you in this day and age is not acceptable.

I call the lady up and the customer service was FANTASTIC!!! She said that it was suppose to show up last Tuesday and went ahead and shipped out a second shipment (same stuff). She said it should get here in 7-10 days. At this point I was shocked but kinda stumbled over myself when she said 7-10 more days. I told her that I was planning on going shooting this weekend (exams are over and I need to enjoy myself) but told her it was no big deal....she then put an expedited order on it and said it should get here in 2-3 days, hopefully just in time for the weekend!

The only thing I called them for was to check the status of the order and when she saw I hadn't received it yet, she pretty much offered everything else on her own! That was awesome customer service...and now I may buy from them again...Just felt I needed to pass that along.
 
aaah yes, the way service should be. Not many places you can go where companies will go out of their way to be helpful like that. It always annoys me when a huge corporation will nit pick with a customer over a 6 dollar item, when it costs them more in time and labor costs than it would if they just give the customer what they want and move on. Not to mention that outstanding customer service will likely generate more business through word of mouth and easily make up the 6 dollar loss..... ok, rant off. I guess the holiday shopping season is starting to get to me. Glad to hear of your experiences, and may we all have many more like it.
 
It may just be the time of year. I've ordered from them before without any problems.

I just ordered a computer part a couple of weeks ago which took longer than I thought it would. I checked the tracking (Fedex) everyday and it was listed as on the truck for delivery for 3 days before I actually got it. "Tis the season"
 
I'm sure the season has something to do with it as well...but I guess the kicker was that I"ve order 3 other things (from different companies online) around the same time or after my NRA order and I've received those....

But I guess it got "lost" in the mail. Anyway, mine should be by week's end!
