Which company should I order from? Does it matter?

I'll be initially setting up for .45ACP. Will get the dies and conversion kit for 9mm later.

Just go for the better price, you can buy a 10 year old used Dillon out of the classifieds and it has the same warranty as a new one from anywhere (1050 excluded).

I personally would be more comfortable buying from Dillon, especially if any type of freight damage or shortage. Both my 550B's were purchased directly from Dillon. I have to be truthful in saying that I have had no experience dealing with Brian Enos however.

Pretty much the same replies you're getting on the other forum.
Either one is good, but Brian Enos has a reputation of answering your questions openly and honestly.

Brian Enos. No worries. He's legit.

Dillon's website makes me want to kick puppies.
+1

I ruled Dillon out cause (through their web site) I thougt a 550 with my calibers would be over $1000, when Brian and I talked I did it for about $575.

When I bought my 650 Brian was a bit cheaper, but those days are gone. I was told Dillion doesn't want him to run discounted product anymore. I have ordered from them both lately and have been happy with each.

I bought a Dillon Super Swage 600 directly from Dillon. I did not order on-line, I called them direct. I called on Dec. 30th and it was in my hands on Jan.4. It it came half way across the country. The thing I liked was it was delivered by FedEx. I got it at 10:30 A.M. Everthing I order that comes by UPS doesn't get here until after 6 P.M. I checked around and the price was the same no matter where I looked, so I just went with Dillon.

I ordered a couple times from Brian Enos a few years ago. Told him what I wanted to do but had no idea what specific parts I would need besides the press itself. He came up with all the additional parts needed for me to do the job without selling me anything I didn't need.

I called and ordered directly from Dillon twice and got exactly what I wanted. They didn't try to sell me a bunch of other stuff and even questioned why I wanted a couple of things. I woulddefinately do it again.
