Being that the Deer Creek website is an unsecured website how does one go about ordering from them? Transferring data on an unsecured website is not a good nor recommended action. Every time I call I get a busy signal. What do YOU do?

Their website has a contact page where you can request that they contact you by phone or email.

I can understand that you would want personal contact.
I've heard that they have a lot of items that aren't listed on their website.

They also have a Facebook page to send them a message, but I wouldn't expect that to work any better than
their website contact us page. --->>> https://www.facebook.com/Deer-Creek-Products-154283344608037/?ref=br_rs

The Facebook logo works, and when I click on their email logo this email address pops up:--->>> [email protected]

When I went as far as to their checkout page to simulate ordering a gun, it stated "Secure Checkout" at the top of the page.
That doesn't mean that it is or isn't secure, but it said that it is.
It doesn't show a lock in the address bar like Paypal or a bank would have, but who knows that it's not secure?
I know someone who's account was hacked on Walmart dot com, so what does secure even mean now days?

Emailed them twice but never got an answer back. Just not sure how to go about getting what I need from them. At least they finally got their web pages up and running again.

The checkout page indicates that it is secure. The URL for the checkout page has the prefix https as in the URL for The High Road https://www.thehighroad.org. This indicates that it is secure. The HTTPS stands for Hypertext Transfer Protocol Secure.

That is not always the case, and in the case of deer creek, they are using HTTPS but apparently they are not encrypting the transaction properly, which makes it NOT secure. I get a warning on my computer stating that they are not configured for information assurance:

www-deercreekproducts-net.checkout.weebly.com uses an invalid security certificate. The certificate is not trusted because the issuer certificate is unknown. The server might not be sending the appropriate intermediate certificates. An additional root certificate may need to be imported. Error code: SEC_ERROR_UNKNOWN_ISSUER

It's a Weebly store.
Weebly claims that all of their stores have advanced protection.

"SSL Certificates and DDoS Mitigation
If you’re concerned about security you can automatically add a SSL certificate to your Weebly site.
SSL ensures that visitors navigate your site over a secure 128-bit encrypted connection.
When using eCommerce this feature enables customers to checkout directly on your domain.
All sites are also protected by a DDoS mitigation service for advanced cyber attack protection." --->>> https://www.weebly.com/features/ssl-and-more

Perhaps Deer Creek did not click on all of their free security options.
Here's more info. about Weebly security:--->>> https://www.weebly.com/online-store/tls-certificate

I think that Weebly is probably providing them with an "adequate" umbrella of security protection of some sort.
Weebly is a large outfit.

Says the order page is secure so the deed is done. We'll see the results. Just hope they are good! It is a part I can not reliably get elsewhere.
