I have established that the only properly-fitting holsters for the CZ SP-01 is the GhostHolster at $150 or BladeTech at $70. This is not my carry gun right now and I don't need a holster that expensive. I will wait until (hopefully) Comp-Tac makes an MTAC body for my carry rig for this gun.

Some people are using Fobus Glock 21(?) holsters for light-duty but apparently retention/fit is kind of sketchy. I would settle for a Fobus if it actually fit, but this seems like a waste of my money. I actually like my Glock 19 Fobus Kydex Paddle for range use and outdoor activities.

This gun will be used for the range, hiking and (hopefully not) SHTF/HD. At the risk of looking like a mall-ninja/gear-queer, are there any generic drop-leg holsters that might fit so I could carry the gun at the range, while working outside or during the rapture? :p

I know this is a temporary solution but I need to keep my hands free and this pistol isn't going to fit in my pocket...

That's exactly what I was looking for...

However, after contacting Fobus and several uninformed retailers it seems that Fobus has "discovered" that model #SG5 RH Paddle Holster (Kydex) actually fits the SP-01. Before it was only listed for some Rugers and Sigs.

I will be calling Fobus tomorrow morning to confirm and order.

I bought this http://www.cheaperthandirt.com/TAC125-47687-1195.html for my Taurus 24/7 pro .45. You can hardly even tell you are wearing a gun.

I have even used it for my GP-100. The 6" barrell sticks out but again it is very comfortable with all that weight.

I will also be using it for my new CZ 75b that I will be picking up in 5 days 13 hours and 32 minutes

Unless you gotta have a Kydex holster body for speed, you could try the Safariland 27 IWB holster - the version made for the Glock 17/22 that I have fits my SP-01 like a glove. My CZ75B also fits it, but the tension screw has to be turned so far in to provide tension for the 75B that it pokes into my side - which could be easily enough fixed with a Dremel tool + cutoff wheel. Tightening the belt also puts tension on the holster body, so the tension screw is probably superfluous.

Cost is about $42.00, the holster mouth is reinforced w/plastic and does not collapse, suede lining should be real easy on the polycoat finish, the sweatguard/body-shield comes up high enough to keep the safety lever from rubbing your side, and the belt J-hook adjusts for carry angle.
