Will the regular CZ 75 B 16 round magazines fit the SP 01? I'd like to buy more magazines for my SP 01 9mm, but I don't want to spend 60 dollars a piece on SP 01 magazines. Also, will the Jericho 9mm magazines fit this gun? Thanks

Yes.

Mags for nearly all of the Tanfoglio-based guns (and the Jericho is among them) should work in the CZ.

In my experience, I've found one or two (individual) mags, over the years, that had slightly different followers, and wouldn't lock back the slide after the last round. That was rare.

Maybe the old style, small frame Tanfoglio mags will work.
However, the new large frame Tanfoglio mags do not. The mag out of my Witness Elite Match will not even come close to going into the magwell of my SP01. It's too large to go into the CZ.

Re: tanfoglio.

Right. I should have made that clear.

When shopping for mags, You have to realize that the new Witness models have the large frame and use the larger mag bodies. Very few of the OTHER Tanfoglio guns use the larger frame. (Some of the mags for the new Turkish-made CZ-type guns may not be compatible, either.)

The Jericho is based on the smaller frame, as are the Baby Eagle, the David, the mags used in the Sphinx, etc.

CZ also offers hi-cap mags for their Tactical Sport guns that won't fit the smaller CZ-75 type frames. More than one shooter has ordered those mags from Mec-Gar and CZ only to find that they don't work.

My Friends Baby Eagle 9mm mags will not work in my CZ75B. We tried swapping mags at the range years ago and remember something was different.

I have a 10 round factory baby eagle mag and it works in my czs with a "but". The front of the mag is wider than cz mags so the rounds coming up are more staggered. On my sp-01 shadow sometimes a round coming up will bump the slide stop locking the slide back. It doesn't do this on my 75sa. The solution is to remove a little metal on the slide stop nub so the ammo doesn't hit. I have seen some witness mags that are the same way.
