Other than the S & W model 25, does anyone else manufacture a double action 45 lc revolver? I have looked for information on this, but have had no luck.

Colt did in the Anaconda. Taurus makes .454 revolvers that will take .45 Colt. The various Judge/Governor .410 shotshell revolvers shoot .45 Colt.

45 offerings

You might try looking at something older. This 1917, ca, 1937 came my way just when I was looking a few years ago. Didn't care for the mismatched stocks so I installed this vintage pair of Walrus Ivories on hand, and a Tyler. She is a bit finished challenged but that in no way is refelcted in the way she shoots. :)

At one time Dan Wesson made a .45 Colt as did Colt with the Anaconda. High Standard had the Crusader in .45 Colt but is rare.

If you are not married to the .45 Colt, there is the S&W 69 which is a 5-shot .44 magnum on an L-frame. Also a 5-shot Taurus Tracker .44 magnum of similar size. In .44 Special there is also the Charter Bulldog which is more like a K-frame in size.

If you look around, Taurus used to make a 5-shot .45 Colt snub-nose called the 450. I think they discontinued it when all these .410 revolvers became popular which is a shame.

I always liked the concept of the Taurus Stellar Tracker. Five shot medium frame .45ACP with 4" barrel and adjustable sights.
You would be a slave to their five shot clips, though.

Yes, and not extremely well. :)
Besides being relatively large & chunky guns.

The Taurus Tracker model 460 , was chambered in 45 Colt at one time , do not know if it is still in production. 5 shot , 4 and 6 1/2 inch barrels with adjustable sights, mine is ported .
A lot of gun in a small package, about K-frame size. Check the used gun sites .

Colt 1878. Colt 1909, Ruger Redhawk. The various Taurus and Smith bullet lobbers. Probably more. If it were me I'd buy a 1909 or an 1878 and refurb it. The 1878 is a pretty cool gun.
