Folks,
I like guns, I collect guns, I don't sell my guns (anymore). I own in most of the regular calibers of pistol, shotgun and rifle and I keep several times my weight in ammunition for most of my firearms.
But I just realized that I own at least one gun that I haven't bothered to keep ammo around for it any more. It is my SW 586 6" revolver. Shoots both .38spl. and .357 Magnum. Great firearm, butter smooth trigger, but I don't ever shoot it anymore and I haven't purchased ammo for it in 7-8 years at least. Will I sell it? -nope!
Is this strange? Does anyone else own firearms in modern calibers but also don't bother keeping ammo for it anymore?
add: Just realized I don't have any .40SW left either, and I own 2 pistols in this caliber, but I will be adding a SW 642 sometime this month, so I'll probably be adding .38 spl. back to my 'owned' list.
