Do you have guns for which you have no ammo?

I've got an Arisaka type 38, which, since I've had it, have bought less than one box of ammo. It's available through a couple of my LGS, but its very expensive.

I keep the rifle for sentimental value, not really to shoot.

We have a whole bunch of 7.62 Nagant Ammo, but no revolver yet... no guns w/o ammo though.

It would feel strange if I had a gun with no ammo, even a handful. It wouldn't be a gun if it didn't have any ammo to shoot, IMO.

I believe I'm down to five .357 magnum rounds. I've only got one box "20 rounds" of .45 colt left too. I've got maybe half a box of .30-06.

yes, I bought 2 7.7 arisakas within a week of each other, no ammo.
Now the other way.
picked up 98 rounds of surplus .303 brit most on stripper clips, unfortunatly no enfield.
12 rounds of 6.5 swiss, no rifle.
had a box of .30 carbine, 32-20 and some other misc ammo. traded it all for 7.62x25 for my cz52. Guy at the local swap meet has been doing the storage auctions for years. whenever he came across ammo, he would put it aside for me and I used to buy whatever he came up with and usually his prices were cheap too!
Oh 1 round of .577-450 I got a half a dozen rounds when I bought my nepalese martini henry, I sold the rifle with 5 rounds and kept 1 for the collection, along with the .50 cal ammo etc. jim

I only have four calibers and have at least 1000 rounds for each except 45 ACP. 45 prices are probably going to get me into reloading :)

Only for the time being!

I've picked up a few unspent rounds at the range; 6.8 SPC, 460 Rowland, 8x57. I also ended up with a case trimmer pilot for a .280 Remington.

Which means I'm obligated to acquire these four guns.
I'm showing this one to my wife. And she called me crazy when I told her the same thing.

All of my firearms are utilitarian in nature, I don't have any functional firearms that I do not also have ammo for. I do have an incomplete AR-15 that I started acquiring parts for only days before Newtown that I don't have ammo for yet. Even if it were a firearm that was given to me as an heirloom or some such thing I'd still make it a point to have some ammo around for it.

I have 22, 25, 32, 380, and 38, None of which I own anymore, but you never know.

no, but i do have ammo for a gun i've never and will never own(.380) and i have a bunch of .308 because i sold mine. the .380 ammo was a gift from a friend who knew nothing about firearms, i thought it was kinda cute.

I'm broken hearted. I don't have any .41 rimfire pistol ammo for my vintage Remington derringer. LOL

Jeez, I got ammo for guns I don't have. I could sell the ammo, but I think I'll just buy more guns.

Many years ago when I had only 3 guns, I never had ammo for them on hand. If I wanted to go shooting, I went to the gun store first. Now, I try to keep ammo for every gun. The only caliber I am really low on is 25 acp. I am glad that I always keep ammo on stock as I was good during the last shortage and this one as well. At least for now anyways.

I have only one: a Krag. It's a bubba special carbine and I can't imagine ever shooting it. I don't know what possessed me to buy it.

I used to have a 7.35 Carcano for which I only had a single clip of corrosive ammo, but it was stolen. I think I eventually threw the ammo away.

At the moment, an Argentine mauser with no ammo. I do have a couple of others with no loaded ammo, but do have the components to load if I want to shoot them.

Ask me again soon. It's getting harder and harder to find S&W 38 for my darling Webley. :(

Off topic: there's no cry emote?
