P220 Carry-I just don't get it.

My son has the 220 Compact.....one great gun.....why was it discontinued ?

The last few posts have had links to the current SIG catalog showing P220 Compact models that are currently available.

I have no problem concealing a P226 IWB which is the same size as a P220. I even conceal it under a tucked shirt on occasion, I like the extra control of the full size grip.

Unfortunately it also comes with a rail. I do not want a rail on a compact carry pistol. If I'm looking to add a flashlight to a pistol, size and conceal-ability have already gone out the window and I would opt for a full sized platform.
