Both are great guns, but IMHO..
...
Straight out of the box..?
Without doubts, I'd steer ya towards the Sig P220 SAO Carry model 45cal.
Best of both worlds, SAO, (same trigger pull every time) ambi thumb slide safety, 8+1 rounds, and there is no "break in" period, they just shoot, and shoot, and shoot.
Also, one of, if not, the easiest guns to disassemble, inspect, clean, reassemble, bar none.. KEY
Many new 1911's require break-in, testing, of what brand, type, ammo they will shoot and won't shoot, i.e. jam with, a lot.
For the least amount of worry, or time invested in to shooting with dependability and reliability.. Sig P220 Carry, SAO, DAK, or DA/SA, your choice.
