I have owned this gun for 4 years. 5000 rounds plus and never had 1 light strike of malfunction. (this model is double action only) Recently I changed out the stock grip to the e2 grips which also includes a new longer hammer guide spring that was installed. I went to the range and about 30% off all my shots I was having light strikes. My freind with the exact gun was firing the same ammo with 0 malfunctions. So I just swapped back to the old hammer guide rod and stock springs and noticed that the trigger does feel heaver with the stock set up. Is is possible that the enlongated hammer guide rod spring the e2 grips was not provideing enough spring tension?
