If I didn't keep getting such great information I'd stop asking so many question!

I'm gunna change out my recoil spring on my Sig P6, and Midway asked me a question that I'm not sure how to answer:
"What 'force' do I want on my spring?" It goes from 13lbs. all the way up to 21lbs. What would work best with standard ball ammo under ordinary load pressures?

Also, do I really need a new recoil spring at all? I just snapped my trigger spring while dry-firing it, and I'm thinking of replacing every damn spring in it for piece of mind.

As always...thanks.

If you do have a P6 versus the imported p225, you might want to use 124 gr instead of 115 gr. The 16 lbs is okay but go to a heavier spring if you want to shoot +p in it or really high velocity such as those ARX types. BTW, the original issue recoil spring was braided--have no idea if Wolffs are now.

Here is a review by the late Stephen Camp that has the original specs of the P6. http://www.hipowersandhandguns.com/Critical Look at SIG Sauer P225.htm
