I'm currently interested in a Walther P99 in 9mm. My primary range load is the el cheapo aluminum-cased CCI Blazers. I know that some pistols do not like Blazers, but I have no idea if the P99 is one of them. Does anyone on the board have any comments on this gun/load combination? Also, any other comments on your experiences with the P99 would be appreciated.

I can't pick my P99 up until tomorrow, but in all my research on the net I've not heard of any problems with any ammo and the P99. You might try Walther Forum.

There is a recent thread about Blazer aluminum in a CZ75. I and other report it works, others also report problems.
Not all guns work with all ammo and vice-versa!

My EDC is a P99 in 9mm. I have fed it about 500rnds of Blazer, and it did fine. However, it HATES WWB!

There is no way to tell for certain except in actual use, in your gun. Buy a small quantity (a box or two) at first to check for functioning.

Both my S&W 99s (.40 & .45) function perfectly with CCI aluminum as this is about all I use for range ammo...
