Thanks again for your time!

I was probably not enough clear - I tested all mentioned guns and I described what I felt.

The question is - are there anything else what should guide me?

I mean a hundred rounds from each, even little more are not good proof/ do not send me at the range again pls./.

I am not a collector - I need one gun - in which to trust - whether daylight or in darks.

I liked what I read above - "...the best gun is the one in my reach"!

As I mentioned Iam tending to Sig 226 / but keeping in mind the others /. I read just two opinions, but not an expirience about:
1. is there interchangeble the barrel of .357 or .40 with 9mm ergo bying .357 with interchagible barrel is the same quality as 9mm Sig? Otherwise Iwould like 9mm!!!
Do not send me again in Sig forum - they have sentiments!

2. most of you own many guns - What about, if you must reduce them to only one and no exceptions? What wil be the last, the real, the ultimate one?

I beleave you are among the experts in the area but pls. advice me properly.

If the Sig fits your hand the best then go for it - you won't go wrong with either of the guns. Get the one you like best and shoot the best. In my expirience guns that point well for me are easier to shoot accurately.

I have the SIG P226, and you can't go wrong with it. Had a bit of trouble at first with the reliability, but after a few hundred rounds, it has been trouble free. The Sigforum is a good place to get info about SIG's, so research some there, it'll be worth your while.

Like most have said, go with the one that fits you the best.

Personally I prefer the 226 and the p99. But you could hardly go wrong with the others.

For the money I think the p99 wins in terms of quality, accuracy, reliability and ergonomics.

Great thanks to everybody!
Finally my choice is P226 in 9mm, but still in my head.
As I understood there are too many variations / ST, R, DAK, etc. / and maybe many more. Any guidelines to this will be the leading point to me. I DO NOT MIND ANY color or finish but suggestions to that matter would be seriously accepted.

Earlier, I recommended to you the Sig P226 of the 4 options. But if for some odd reason I had to choose the last, the real, the ultimate one...?

...I'd go for one of my 1911's in a heartbeat. :D

Regarding the P226:

ST= Stainless finish. Nice looking, more slide weight, but tack on about $300.

DAK= This is Sig's new DA only pull which is lighter than standard Sig DA, but unless you are in Law Enforcement, I'd steer clear.

R= Picatinny Rail. Cost is about the same as the standard. If you plan on adding a rail mounted light or laser, then it's a good choice. It might make finding the right holster a little more difficult though, although i've had no problem with that.

Good luck, and be safe.
