PA-63's. Finally going to get some.

If everything goes according to plan I'm going to order 3 PA-63's from CDNN tomorrow. This is the first time I have ordered a gun, and had to do a transfer. Do I need to have my local dealers information ready when I call CDNN, or how exactly does that work?
Also, what do you guys that have them think of the PA-63?

Usually when you order a fun you will have to fax/mail them a copy of your dealer's ffl and that should be it for them ship it, besides the payment of course. Good luck with your new guns.

Better get some cheap Russian Silver Bear ammo too, it's hard to find that caliber and it's usually not cheap. I'm fixin' to make a bunch out of 9mm Luger cases.

Oh, Wolff springs www.gunsprings.com makes a kit to replace all the springs in those. Helps a lot with recoil and trigger pull.

9x18 is pretty cheap from almost any online retailer that sells ammo like AIM, Midway, etc.

+1 on the Wolff springs. Also, check the mag-well (and the rest of the gun) for burrs and for rubbing against the mag. My friend's needed a little TLC to the mag-well to get mags to insert smoothly.
There are numerous things you can do to it to make it better. I've seen several people round off the back of the slide to keep it from, or lessen, the slide bite. And have a brass-catcher or deflector at teh range with you. You'll never find them if you don't do something to keep the brass nearby.

All being said, it's a nice shooter for a cheap aluminum gun.

love mine. get the heaviest spring you can. and, if you can find them, do what i did and throw some slimline grips on there.

Usually if I order anything that needs my dealer's FFL, I place the order and tell them they will have a fax by the end of the day. I then call my dealer and let them know where to fax it. Of course, I try to give my dealer a heads up 1st.

I love my PA63 too. I agree change the recoil spring to a heavier spring ( I forget what spring I am using) and change the hammer spring to the lightest Wolff has. I think it's a 9#. They are great guns. Don't run anything heavier than 95gr since these are alloy frames. I shoot any 9mm Mak thru mine PA63 and it never malfunctioned. Just be aware that there will be some recoil with such a light handgun. Have fun!
