Does the Pa 63 come in a nice blue only finish? I found what I think to be one in blued w/o the two tone finish at a local shop. Anybody else have one? Or pics. Thanks.

What you are looking at might be a Feg SMC918 imported by KBI back in the early 90s. orchidhunter

It did have the KBI import on it. What is the differance between this & the Pa-63?

litlman, Go to Makarov. com's site, and look under "other pistols", there you will find a lot of info on Feg pistols imported to the US. orchidhunter

Some PA-63's are also marked AP-9, this is a 380 version available in two tone or blue. (Mine has both markings and is a 2 tone.)

I think all 9mm Mak versions were 2 tones.

FEG made several models, SMC 380, 22 for instance that was smaller in blue and 2 tone.

I bought a PA 63 about 8 years ago and it doesn't have the two tone finish on it and.

From a 1996 gun catalog. Feg model 8mc 9mm mak, 380, & 22lr. , alloy frame, 8 shot mag., blued. From KBI. msrp $279.

All the military versions of the PA63 will have a blue/black steel slide and a "natural" aluminum frame and be chambered in 9mm MAK. The commercial versions come with blued steel slides and frames and most are chambered for .380ACP, although some scarce pieces show up from time to time in .32ACP. There is also a .22 lr version which is very rare and very pricey.

Aren't they all an aluminum alloy frame? I mean maybe they can anodize or paint it but I have only seen natural aluminum.

This gun is all blue & the finish is in nice shape. I am going to go back & give it the 2nd look.

I just took a second look at this pistol and I made a mistake in it's description. It does not say KBI on it, (that was another pistol that I was looking at). The import marks on it are very small & are on the right side of the frame grip area. It looks like LND WBORO Ma. The right side of the slide says 9mm made in Hungary. There is no other identification Except the roll marks on the frame on the left side grip area. 4 symbols in a row, top looks like a 9, 2nd looks like a circle , 3rd like a sideways M in a circle & 4th looks like a 1 in an upside down triangle? Two mags have only different numbers on them. The mags only took a 9mm mak. round. What is this model Feg? Any ideas?

Anybody else have a blued Feg in 9mm mak with the import marks as described previously in this post?

The price is 250 hich seems high. It is almost new with 2 mags, Very clean looking w/o big import marks or Feg on it.

Guy up here has two feg p-63s $215 each or both for $400.....Is This a good deal? sorry if this is off subject.............

I bought mine brand new in the box, still had the factory oil on it for $189. You will need to replace the springs on them, recoil spring with a Wolf 13lb. and the hammer spring with a 9lb - you can get both for about $8 bucks a piece. If you don't do this the triggers on these guns are extremely hard to pull from a DA or to cock, and the recoil spring will reduce the muzzle flip or recoil. It is a light gun and with small guns they recoil alot...do this and you will like your gun. They are good looking, ammo is cheap, I went and got new flat grips to streamline the gun for easier concealment. If they are not brand new I wouldn't pay more than $125-$150 check the prices on J&G guns jgsales.com
