I doubt we'll have that big of a crowd in the end but - should be well enough to have a great day - hoping weather not too unkind.

I will email my last missive to the group I have on my current list .... just reminding of info probably already covered.

I will ask though PULEAZE! ...... will all I email, respond by replying - even PM me here .... I have not heard from some of you despite already sending 2 or 3 emails out. One guy on the list in fact seems to have changed his email addy cos it bounced back (FRODO527 - that was you!).

I remember one or two saying they'd like to come up on the Saturday and camp over .. I must know who they are - at least how many and ETA ... cos I'll need to be at range to receive you - but don't want to be spending time there wastfully.

The others .. just respond so I know numbers - my dear wife has been coerced into dealing with vital stomach filling details and we need to know numbers to help that department.

I mentioned in an email before ... those who come, do bring if you can your own target frame etc .. it'll help quite a bit.

I am posting a colored GIF which I sorta ''constructed'' out of four maps off MapQuest, and added to a bit ....... caseydog has this already (I hope) .... but here it is for any who might want to refer. There's damn all cell signal at range itself so no use bothering with cell number I'm afraid.

At this point both MTNBKR and I will be attending -- we talked about it over dinner last night after I picked up my P7.

That can change in a heartbeat, however, but at this moment in time, expect to see me.

Finding the range turn-off .... please note

I was down there this morning and I discover that the sign board is down to be re-painted!!

Worry not ........ there is a small promotional ''vote for'' sign right by the entrance ... says something like ''re-elect FETTER'' ...... so look for that.

A further help to you .. watch your odometers. From Pleasantville (Alum Bank) red light, where you turn off Route 56 ........ onto Route 96 South .... it is all but three miles to the gas station I have shown on map, in Ryot village .... and from gas station it is almost exactly a further 1 mile to the right turn into range...... which is not far after a longish slow right curve.

The sign may be up again but in case not, the above should avoid much problem.

I have yet to hear back from a few people .... not heard since last email batch went out.

Please ........ if you were on my email list and even if just down as ''possible'' ... get back to me thru email or PM here ... it really would help to know for final figures.

The range sign board has I believe been repainted but still unsure if it will be back up in time. I will try and prepare a simple sign to assist tho ..... with something on it like ''THR SHOOT'' .... should help.

Trying to get the last piece of the puzzle to fall into place.

The kennel I was going to use fell through.

I don't trust any other kennels to keep my best friends unless others I know (and whom I know care for their pets in the same manner that I do) recommend them.

My last alternative is a neighbor.

If he's going to be home this weekend, all is well.

If not, I'm not going to be attending.

As soon as I can track Gerry down, I'll let you know.

Given my time constraints, press problems, and burgeoning work problems, I'm probably going to be traveling lighter than I had anticipated.

Oh well, I have a new P7 PSP to test. And it's going to get a work out.

No prob's Mike ......... whilst the P7 will I am sure get it's ''work-out'' ...... there will be plenty to ''play with'' .......

I expect when I load up I'll do my usual ... ''well, better add that'' .... and ''may need that'' ..... ''oh and that might be useful''........ and'' someone may wanna try this'' .......... plus ... ''throw that in for good measure''.

I have little doubt I shall finish up bring the whole safe contents .. and to hell with the week's cleaning to follow!!
