If anyone is interested in getting a Pennsylvania LTC, cost $26 for non-residents you can apply by mail if they receive it by 3/31, after that you will need to go in person. If your state issues a LTC you need to send a copy of that with application, in Illinois a copy of your Firearm Owners ID. The Illinois Firearm Ownes ID of course is not a LTC, but they do require a copy of it if you are in Illinois. Personal checks are accepted. No photo required. You can download an application at www.co.centre.pa.us/sheriff click on license to carry a firearm application.

They are getting a lot of applications now so it might take a month to get it. It is good for 5 years lets you carry in about 20 states as a non-resident.

For non-residents the I believe the states are (abbreviated) Az, Ar, Ga, Ky, Mo,Nc,Ok, Sd,Tn,Tx,Wv,Wy, Id, In,Iowa, La, Mt,Nd,and Ut you could also carry in Vermont, and Alaska actually also Az now without any LTC.

There are a few other states that allow you to carry on Pa if you are a resident of Pa.

Eqlzr, What state are you from?

If you have any other questions feel free to ask.

BTW, though a place is on the application for a photo, none is required at least not right now.
