Paint on an STG-2000C?

Hey, I have an STG-2000C, an AK with black plastic furniture. Last night in Wally-world I stumbled on the camo paint and started thinking about painting the safety selector plastic furniture OD green, What do you guys think?

I'm kind of partial to the traditional AK look with wood (or bakelite) and such, but if you've already got black plastic furniture on the weapon, I'd say paint it if you want to. Personally, the only things I usually tape off when spray painting a weapon are the serial number and the iron sights, I wouldn't worry about keeping the safety colored differently.

paint it pink and purple camo.
Or maybe lime green and neon orange camo.

unless you plan on using it as a serious SHTF/defensive weapon.
But then again some people say I'm crazy.
