I've got a weatherby vanguard 22-250 bearing a fairly gross synthetic stock.
Can I prime & paint (spray) the thing to take some of the ugly out? I'm thinking something totally non-camo like screaming bright yellow.
Specifics would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I have used the Krylon paint with Fusion as it was made for plastics and holds up very well. I roughed the stock with 220 grit paper and removed all the mold lines, wiped with acetone and sprayed the Krylon.

I used duracoat- expensive, but super awesome. And by super awesome, I mean friggen sweet. I used same type of prep as the other guys. Krylon works fine and is much cheaper and simpler. You can read all about it and see colors here: http://lauerweaponry.com/

I recently painted the plastic Shell of my Xbox with Krylon Fusion plastic paint, turned out nice, also you can buy Varathane brand Clear gloss spray, it works well to spray over the paint coat.

good luck, I have never used the duracoat from what i hear it's awesome, ive just been too cheap to buy it. =D
