So I had looked at the slip on recoil pad they sell at Walmart in the past. It is $19.97 or something like that. It says Winchester in big letters on the package. Then under that it has the Limbsaver logo as well as saying on the back Simms or whoever makes Limbsaver stuff. on the actual recoil pad it says Limbsaver on the sides and doesn't say Winchester anywhere on it. Seems like all the stuff Walmart sells now is branded Winchester for some reason even their Breakfree CLP and their Shoot N C targets. Walmart used to sell these in the actual Limbsaver package that the other stores use however now it's labeled Winchester.
Then I went to Dicks Sporting Goods to see if they had a Limbsaver recoil pad and to see how much it was. They did have them but they were $37.99 or something. They were around $18 more.
Is there any difference between these two? Are the ones at Walmart the same only with Winchester on the package or are they inferior?
BTW does anyone know what the deal is with all the stuff at Walmart now being branded Winchester then having in small print the companies that make them? Why did they all change to having Winchester in big writing on the package?
