I finally have a dedicated workbench for reloading and I've been looking at various ways to swap out presses and powder measures. I came across Patmarlins ROCKDock system.

What's the thoughts on this? Is it quality? Is it easy and quick to change presses? Is it solid?

I bought a RockDock system for two of my press plus the shelf storage pieces.

I have not installed it yet as I have to rebuild one of my press stands and clear out some shelf space for the storage. I'm a horrible packrat.:)

I mount my presses on free standing stands and move them in and out of position at the loading bench. I'm losing too much floor space to the multitude of stands for four different reloading presses and the RockDock looked like a good way to retire one of the stands.

The pieces are well made and I do not anticipate any problems using them

I've had a Rockdock system on my loading bench for a couple of years and really like it. I swap my progressive and turret presses back and forth, depending on what I'm going to load. It's well made and holds the press solidly with no slop or play. Fast and easy swap out.

Check out Inline Fabrications quick change system.

I have the RockDock system and I love it,I switch between 2 650s and 2 single stage presses oosen 6 screws slide out replace press tighten screws and your gtg.

I think I got my RockDock about 4 years ago. It does everything it's supposed to do, quite well. I keep a nut driver on my bench for the hold down bolts and hand tight holds the press firmly in place w/no wobble or shift (huge C-H single stage used for heavy work and a Lee turret for normal reloading)...

Inline Fabrication system looks interesting. Thanks for the info. However, I'm not sure how the extra height would work out. Is it a help? When resizing, I need to put some real force into the press and at that height, it might make it harder. It would raise it up to eye level which is a plus in most cases. And the press wouldn't hang out front on the bench which I like.

Also, I have the Redding Big Boss II and it has a primer catch tube. Would that work with Inline Fab system? It does look like it's about 2X the price of Patmarlins.

How are both systems for powder measures and bench mounted primer tool?

I have a couple of them. Used for a 550, Lee turret, RCBS RC, Lyman 450 and a CH trimmer. All slide in and out without issue. Hold very firm and the shelf is a nice touch for shell holders ect.
If you polish the contact area on the plates your items are bolted to you don't have to play with the bolts holding the RD to your bench Also I made brackets from wood to hold the presses not in use on a shelf.

I think I'm going with the Patmarlins system. Seems rock solid.

One thought though. My reloading bench is pretty small. Only about 3' wide. I'm thinking it makes sense to mount this towards the right side of the bench rather than centered since everything is placed and removed from the left side of the press. Thoughts?

I also have a small bench. My Rockdock is mounted at the right hand edge of work surface. That works fine for me. I have never missed not having any work surface on the right hand side of the press.

Even though I use floor stands for my reloading presses, I nestle the one I am using at the time up to the right of the work table.

So, all my work space is to the left as well.
