Patrick Doyle makes stupidest statement ever in opp. school guns

"Imagine a scene where somebody walks into a crowded room with a gun in his pocket and the police can't do anything about it because it's not a crime," Doyle said.

And imagine it happening in almost every other state in the union.

I think I'd have to agree with NOT arming teachers at this time. Nearly all the teachers presently working have been brainwashed by years of liberal schooling and would likely be a very poor line of defense. Perhaps in the future, after a few more incidents have killed a few more kids, but not just yet.
On the other hand, I would have no problem with armed parents or private citizens - with proper training - patrolling the schools. What kind of training? Well, a hitch in the military or some time with a police force would be useful, certainly not something some committee could recommend.
Remember, we have about half-a-zillion schools here in the U.S. and the number of shootings is pretty small, so whoever does do the patrolling will probably be bored to death before he/she is ever shot to death!
