Paul Harrell on the Colt Walker (for beginners)

If the guy oils his operator beard you can safely discount everything he says.

and… wouldn’t it be easier to chamber the revolver in a serious caliber and just fire one round at a time? SMH…
Probably, but a double barrel revolver that shoots/tumbles .22 mags x 2!!! very cool!

anyways, I hope this is the only dumb buy of the year

I watched that video on a very windy day last week. I have little to no use for most videos concerning guns or about anything else based strictly on the presenters and their waste of bandwidth on hot air but I needed something to kill some time while stuck inside. Harrel is one that tends to waste much less time in his presentations than most and has a dry sense of humor.

Where did I say he was bad? I complimented him on not wasting time on hot air and BS, but taking care of business. Hickock, on the other hand, tends to be quite windy. He will get to the point but it takes him sometime to arrive.

Harrell and Hickock45 are among the very few Interweb gun bugs who are neither moronic nor particularly annoying.
That's funny, I'm a Paul Harrell fan, but I sure cannot watch Hickock45. !!! I tried watching Hickocks's Brown Bess video, as I live and breathe Brown Bess, watch anything and everything about Bessie, and dream about the Brown Bess at night, but man, watching someone with no experience with the Bess, or even flintlocks, droning on and showing people how to shoot and use one...that was very painful.

Well I’m getting a $200 Police Positive this week, to make up for my gun sins… 38 S&W - Stuff it full of Holly Mooly Black
I’ve worked over a couple old Enfields in .38-200. Double Action only, I cleaned up the actions, polished inside and out, blued them and made round butt pau ferro grips for them. I did one for a lady friend of the family. The other for an old notorious cheapskate. Those are pretty solid pistols with a bit of work… uglier than homemade sin no matter what you do to them… she shoots hers pretty often. To my knowledge, the only thing he’s ever shot with his was his grandmother’s antique headboard. Granny wasn’t in bed at that moment.

I've never seen either one, but it would be a hoot to watch them do something on a Ferguson! I watched that long hair fellow from Forgotten Weapons do a thing on Ferguson rifles that was about 3/4 s right.

I saw that. I thought it was good, because he didn't pretend to have any expertise with it, and differed to the owner for most of the technical information. (as I remember)

Is "differed" the right word? !!!
