Paul O'Neill may be investigated for release of possibly classified docs in his book

Obiwan beat me to it. Economists are agreeing that O'Neill was wrong, and so does he. But don't let facts get in the way of a good Bush bash.

I guess loyalty to the USA is more important to me than loyalty to Bush and his agenda.

Loyalty is important. We all have our own heirarchy of things we're loyal to. But the way a team works...even Team White House...is that you show true loyalty by giving the leader every benefit of your skilled analysis and discussing/defending your point of view until the leader makes a decision. At that point, you either shut up and support that decision or you resign in a huff and go sing to your heart's content.

He got the documents because he was the Sec of Treasury and had access to them?

The documents contain secret plans for the invasion of Iraq?

Nope, not in the Twilight Zone. Not surprised by either. I'm concerned that he hauled secret documents off with him. I'm happy that the administration had plans in place.

The left wants it both ways. Example of their general attitudes:

This administration jumped into Iraq without a plan...therefore Bush is evil.

This administration had a plan to attack Iraq before 9/11...therefore Bush is evil.

Why not just give up and say...

This does not make sense!!! If Chewbacca lives on Endor, you must acquit!!!

What? George W. discussed issues that Bill Clinton and George Sr. also discussed when they were President? Hold the press! This is truly earth shattering news!

O'Neill wasn't even competent enough to be Sec. of Treasury, and now he's somehow a credible expert on matters of intelligence? His motivations and so-called truths are what's really transparent. What's really twilight zone, is anyone giving credit to this guy for anything.
