I'm forced to conclude that if you'd quit buying your ammo one box at a time you wouldn't be so worried about this.

Your conclusion is somewhat correct, because I would buy my ammo by the case if I could afford it. I can't, and so I buy what I can, when I can. On the other hand, your incorrect because whether I bought my ammo round by round or by lots of 1000, I would still want my guns to function with whatever. Dude, I might have misunderstood your response, but you do understand that the comment about the meteors was a joke, right?

I apologise Phil. The P38 barrel assembly does, of course, move if only "front and back". Did get confused with PPK for which there is no excuse because I own both.
