I just came across this photo of the lovely Senator Dianne Feinstein posing with some sort of AK (and a big drum magazine) with...her finger on the trigger.

Similarly, the equally attractive Michael Moore is seen randomly pointing a rifle, indoors, also with his finger on the trigger.

And, last but not least, John Kerry, with a maniacal expression on his face, looking in one direction while idly pointing a shotgun in another direction, with...his finger on the trigger. (And this is someone who has been in the military, and has also been a hunter for his whole life - so he has even less of an excuse!)

Please share other photographs of anti-gun lunatics violating rules of gun safety. We should compile a big list of them, both for humor value and to underline the fact that these people are morons.

(Aside - why do anti's insist on posing with guns?!)

why do anti's insist on posing with guns?

Because "they support your second amendment rights! See! Here I am shooting a goose!" (read: "Legitimate sporting purposes are okay for now, but one day, we'll ban those too... MWHAHAHAHA!")

I seem to recall a pic of the mayor and the police chief of New Orleans jokingly pointing the PD's new ARs at each other during a press conference (mags in, fingers on triggers, of course.) Can't find it now...

No pics at the moment, but how about this video, which most of us have already seen, but an anti not only demonstrating how NOT to behave with a gun, but also demonstrates the end results as well. Again, most of you have already seen this, but it's a good refresher:

Ever noticed that none of them can ever pratice trigger control. My cats have better trigger control than any of these morons.

What if one of them was sliped a loaded firearm and they killed someone. That woud be tragic.

Nagin - EEEEK!!! How can that COP be laughing and carrying on with an M4 (that's what that is, right?) pointed at him??!?

Good God. It looks like the citizens of NOLA should have been forcibly disarming the officials instead of the reverse. :banghead:

"Wait a minute, wait a minute. What have we here, gentlemen? The police have themselves an RV."

JWarren, those must not be the pix MadBadger had in mind. Note, no mags in rifles, fingers AWAY from triggers. Poor muzzle control still not excusable, of course.

Most banners are phonies, if you know one and he gets on your case about you or anyone else not needing guns, challenge him to put a sign in his yard or on his apartmet door saying that his residence doesn't contain firearms, and watch him studder and stammer around for some excuse not to do that.

Good for Chuck. The only time that I was ever injured shooting was when I was burned by a shell that bounced off the wall and wedged between my shooting glasses and my eyebrow.

Anyway, eye protection is probably a good idea most of the time.

Is it possible, just maybe, they're hoping to accidentally kill someone so they can blame the gun?

Probably not, and none would admit it, but subconsciously....

So this thread is about idiot antis holding firearms wrong. Big deal. How do the images differ from idiot pro-gun folks handling firearms wrong?

Is it possible, just maybe, they're hoping to accidentally kill someone so they can blame the gun?

Probably not, and none would admit it, but subconsciously....

Subconsciously like the pro-gun folks who have accidently killed or harmed others, you mean?

Get those arms straight, Chuck! You're going to have two black eyes at this rate!

Good Lord! You'd think they would, at the very least, make an effort to save face with proper handling!

This is causing me mixed emotions..don't know if I should laugh or cry. :what:

If they won't take the time to learn that guns have no personality or mind of their own they aren't going to take time to learn the 4 rules.

Hmmm...they do seem to be enjoying themselves. I wonder if it is similar to the politicians and other self-righteous public figures who have crusaded against prostitution, or gay sex, or illicit drugs - only to be caught doing those very things themself? Perhaps these hypocrites are so disturbed by their own guilty pleasures they are compelled to ban them for the rest of us? Strange breed...

No I mean sub-conciously as in these people are supposed to be terrified of these objects.

People who are scared of snakes don't pose with snakes. People who are scared of water don't laugh and throw water at each other.

These freaks operate under the premise that guns, in and of themselves, are dangerous. If you were playing with a dangerous object, that you supposedly fear because it causes death, and begin handling that object in a way that could lead to death. Are you following my logic?

Simply put, if a nuclear warhead landed in your backyard, would you call someone who should know what's going on or would you walk up to it and start pushing buttons?

This one by Senator crowdsweeper doesn't load in the original post.

I want to know what Nagin SAID as he was doing that. He's pointing an "assault rifle" at a cop, so what could he have possibly said that he thought was funny? Maybe he was just being 5 years old and saying "freeze" or something like that.

Yes, but now you are stereotyping and your original statement did NOT reflect the sentiment of your clarification. I don't recall any of the offending individuals saying they are scared of individual guns. There are people who are, but I don't recall any of these folks being in that category. What they are concerned with is the impact of guns on society (which is stupid, but that is the fear).

People do pose with threatening items on a fairly regular basis. So the fact that they have been posed with guns isn't a problem for me. Feinstein isn't so much posing with the gun so much as using it as an example in a presentation.

The other way to look at it is that they are familiar with that which they don't like.

1. I forgot Moron Moore. So why do people bring him up again??
He is a looser. Just ignore him!
2. There is a picture of Kerry looking down his own barrel of his M16 in Vietnam.

I was at Fleet week last Saturday and they had some weapons out on a table for people to hold. This being NYC, nobody had any idea of how to handle a gun. They are waving them around and pointing them at everybody. I grabbed the family and pulled them out of the area. My 10 yo son wanted to hold the m4 but I told him that he could hold my ar-15 at home. I must have looked like an anti with a big frown on my face looking at all the guns. We did get to pretend fire the .50 cal mounted on the patrol boat. To bad we could actually fire it.
