So, I bought a foregrip accessory for my Saiga-12. Light+Laser combo (Sig Stoplite STL-300J). It's great, but it came to me with the picatinny rail lock broken, and I can't return it. It took me a few months to figure out that this was the problem, because it's a very small plastic piece that locks into the picatinny groove, and the tightening bolts on the side give it enough friction to hold securely when picking up the weapon and handling it. The return on this was only good for two weeks, and it took me a few trips to the range to see the problem :cuss:

When firing in semi-automatic mode, at high rate, the foregrip wants to slide right off the front of rail

Of course, I'm going to contact Sig and see if they'll replace the locking mechanism. But in the meantime, I have a question.

Is there a picatinny rail accessory that simply blocks forward and backward movement of accessories? I'm envisioning something like a wedge that slides into one groove and locks down. If I have two, I can put one in front and one behind.

Of course, another way to do it is to drill some holes and screw a screw fore and aft of the accessory. Makes it hard to assemble and dissassemble.

But I'm hoping someone makes some very small, easy to remove, sliders that keep accessories from sliding on the rail.

The other annoyance is that the rubber rail covers also slide right off the front. I have quad rails, and all the rail covers work their way right off the rail by the time I've cycled through 20 rounds of 12-gauge.

So something to block off the rails would help with that as well!

Thank you in advance for any advice!
