pick 2 new handguns to be made

Just found out the other day that Ruger has never produced a revolver with an 8" barrel. I say they need to get on it. A GP100 or .357 Blackhawk with an 8" would be so awesome.

I'll echo the single stack Glock idea and add two more of my own:

A full-frame Glock with a 1911 grip angle and thumb safety. No finger grooves. Useful interchangeable backstraps.

A stainless steel 1911 CCO in 9mm.

Ruger .45acp snub.

A good factory .22 in auto other than the Ruger or Browning. Forgot about CZ but there still needs to be another.

1) Ruger or S&W revolver in a new caliber such as a .357mag necked to .22 or 6mm or .44mag necked to 6mm or .25

2) A new version of the old Coonan 357mag 1911

single stack glock in 9mm with an m&p trigger and no finger grooves or light rail

a mid size ruger 357, like a 6 shot sp frame with gp grips and a 4 inch bbl

Something the size of the old S&W New Departure Safety Hammerless in .32 H&R Magnum. (2 1/2-3" barrel please) in a propper blue or nickle finish w/ no lock.

A 2 1/2"-3" New Service in .45 Colt w/ cylinder relieved to also accomodate mooncliped 45 ACP and a bobbed hammer.

I want something like a browning hi-power but with a larger capacity.

Combine a browning hi-power, sig p226, and cz-75 and I will be one happy man :D

Double/single action, large slide, nice balance and feel-fits in the hand well, low bore axis, safety and decocker positioning of the sig, .40 cal high capacity, novak style combat night sights, decent pair of grips... oooh, it's like ectasy

especially when they make a 9mm barrel and mags so you can swap out calibers ;)

1. Ruger .22 with 20 round (or higher) mags.

2. Glock Carbine - I know, but it's based on a pistol.

I like the idea of a modern 7.62x25 with modern HP ammo.....I think I'd definitely prefer an all steel gun for this one! :uhoh:

How about a CZ 75 Tok.

How 'bout a 9mm lever gun? I wonder what the magazine tube capacity would be, or how it could even feed?

Or a 38/357 Ruger Carbine. May require recoil spring changes...

Sorry I just realized I was in a handgun thread...at least they're handgun rounds :)

A polymer framed 1911 chambered in .25ACP with a big neon logo on the side and punisher logo grips.

A Glock with a thumb safety, internal lock, mag disconnect, grip safety, 1/2" tall loaded chamber indicator and a proprietary 6 round magazine that only comes in .45GAP. I would also like a big warning on it too. We'll call it "Extra Safe Action Pistol".

This is more than two, but....

Glock .45 & 10mm in the Practical/Tactical long slide like the Glock 34/35.

Slimline single stack Glock 9mm.

XD(m) 45. I personally cannot believe they brought out these new short-slide 3.8 pistols before releasing a .45 ACP version...weak weak weak.

Sig P220/226/229, but with the DAO trigger from the new P250 instead of the DAK trigger.

Walther PPK in 9x19mm instead of .380ACP. Beautiful gun, for if Ruger can jam the .380 in the LCP then Walther should be able to put 9mm in the PPK.

The return of the S&W Model 19.

I've always loved the looks and feel of the Walther PPK but don't want to add a .32 or .380 to my collection. I'd like to see a 9mm version made as close as possible to the looks and size of the original - I'd expect at least a slight increase in size and weight.

an 8-9 shot .327mag revolver.

a pocket sized .22mag autoloader (would have to be a good bit smaller than a LCP).

Alright, I'll play...

a portable mini-gun that shoots 9mm or 45 acp. JUST like the minigun, only portable and with some sort of a stock.

thats all I can really think of.

I'm going to break the rules and list more than 2:

1. Beretta all-metal single-stack 9mm DA/SA sub-compact that looks, feels, and works like the 85FS Cheetah

2. S&W Airweight 5-shot .32 H&R DAO revolver with 2" barrel - smaller in every dimension than a standard J-frame

3. Ruger Super Blackhawk stainless, unfluted cylinder, 5.5" barrel with flush ejector rod housing, "Dragoon" style grip frame and squared-off trigger guard

4. Springfield XDM .45

5. Springfield EMP with flush-fitting mags, left-side only safety, slight bobtailed or rounded mainspring housing, ultra-slim grip panels, and a price tag below $1,000
