Traded a DSLR setup for the Kimber and we met at Cabela's for the sale and i went in and they had a Steyr M9 sitting on the shelf with a clearance tag on it! They stopped importing these a while ago and I have been craving one for a long time now.
People say these are "What the Glock should have been"... I just got back from shooting it and its BUTTER.. I own Glocks, XD's, M&P's, Rugers and Sig's and until Today the M&P and XD's were my Favorite (other than 1911's obviously ) I have a new favorite. The Steyr is amazing. The grip is SO HIGH on it, its amazing it doesn't bite you when the slide racks. The sights are weird!!! but they work very well... I'm in love... Priced at $329!!!!!!! i snagged it and didn't look back. So far i would say its been my "Best" Purchase... Its fairly small... M&P compact .40c small but it feels big in the hands.
SO, here are some pics of course
