Congrats, Gunny. I'm not a fan of two tone pistols but you got yourself a GREAT deal. I own a couple of Kimbers so I'm sure you'll enjoy your new acquisition.
Glad it worked out. I am fascinated by Kimbers because of all the pros and cons people offer regarding them. I hope some day I get to try one. They guys at my local gun shop seem to like them.
Nice looking gun and I bet it shoots as good as it looks.
My first auto was a Kimber Pro Carry II. I had never wanted a 1911 after carrying one in the service. My opinion of 1911 accuracy was very low until I shot the Kimber. It is my most accurate auto and I doubt I would part with it.
I have only shot it at 10yds. It shoots seven rounds in one ragged hole. I tried several brands of ammo, ball and HP. It's not picky about what you feed it.
