Today was a good day, started off as a normal day at work and ended up with me picking up a Sig P226 Navy 9mm for a great price. Below are some pic's, will update once I hit the range with it this weekend.
I bought an earlier version without the rail, but it's a great shooter, and it is one of the few pistols I have that has yet to have any FTF or FTE of any type of ammo. I think you will enjoy your new find. LM
I made it to the range today with my Navy P226 and put 100 rounds down range. The trigger is pretty smooth, but not as smooth as my last P226. That one however had a trigger job done by Gray Guns and magna-ported barrel.
With that said, it's still very accurate and definitely a keeper. I've posted a picture of one of the targets from my range time earlier today, 10 yards. I've got a 100 rounds down range with more to follow. And I'm sure my groupings will get better with more practice.
Someday I'm going to have a 226 Thats the one firearm that's pretty pricey and i can't afford atm. Sig sure makes a great machine. My cousin has a 229, it points & shoots great...I want the 226 more for plinking so the slightly longer barrel would make it ideal for me. Enjoy that wonderful firearm...I'm jealous (my day for owning one is slowly getting closer)
That's the same finish as mine: what version is it? I can't find one with the stainless body and black slide on the Sig website except for the USPSA version (not mine).
ETA: sorry, Trex1310. I need to learn to preview my posts.
