One is listed as a standard ammo spring and the other for high velocity. The standard spring gave some fail to feed problems, both with bulk box Federal and Yellow Jacket. The other spring worked fine with CCI Mini Mag. What ammo works with the standard spring?

This is a great feeling gun. Everything feels tight, controls are easy to use and reach. Shoot pretty tight groups, but it isn't a target gun. Came with three front sights. Take down is as easy as can be.

Other than the light spring not functioning 100%, I think this is a keeper. Any other comments or suggestions I should be aware of, and who makes ammo for the other spring?

I have two springs also, I don't know which spring is in the gun, but it wouldn't function with Federal standard velocity. Bought a brick of Remington Hi-Speed and it functions flawlessly. Some people have had problems with early production, but mine works good.

I've always used the one that came with the gun, I believe its the "white" one. Mine has fed everything I've put in it from regular .22's to Stingers and Mini Mags. I mostly just shoot Winchester Super X as I have a bunch of it on hand.

Mines been a fun little gun. I've heard a lot of horror stories about them, but mines been pretty much 100%. Same goes for my Walther P22.

Thats retarded and something that should'nt even have to occur if they had engineered the gun correctly.
Does that mean that all the fancy tuned race guns that use different loads and springs fit into this category?

seems to me, they were nice enough to give you both just in case you might want to use different ammo.

I shoot whatever is the cheapest brick of the day. My sigmo will shoot all the standards with the heavier spring. I have heard of some match ammos not doing so well with the lighter spring but it is all second hand. What I do know for a fact is the gun is made by jp sauer not the standard sig plants. A compatriot got one because he liked mine and had repeated fail to fire "clicks" at a rate of 3-8 to a mag. When he returned the piece and after 3 mo. of waiting sig copped to the fact that the gun had slipped through qc and never should left the factory. The "guns" that they have been sending him have had horrible machine marks, and bad finishing problems. He is on the third replacement and is now irate with sig. Prior to buying the .22 he was a huge sig fan having at least 4. He is now very dissolusioned with sig and it is our collective feeling that this is going to and has been a thorn in sigs side. Sig even offered to buy him whatever other .22 he would want just so he would go away. I however, like mine and it functions well. I recommend using the heaviest spring in the box "blue one" as the slide is only an alloy and the battering can't be good for it over time. Best of luck.;)

Some of the finest high dollar Performance Center autos I own, came with 2 springs. The factory has no way of knowing if I'm going to use the gun for self defence, hunting, or bulseye matches.

Nice touch...
