I've been wanting one of these for some time and I wanted to wait and find a used that is like new with the stamped steel slide and not the stainless steel. I think I did pretty good for $600. What say you?

I am a real fan of old school alloy framed, stamped steel slide SIG Sauers.
Perfect balance in the hand, perfect function on the range...
I am sure you will enjoy your P220. Congrats.

Congratulations on your P220 acquisition. There isn't really much to add; the P220 will speak for itself when you fire it. You may find, as many of us have, that one SIG will simply not be enough. Enjoy!

I bought the exact same model 6 months ago used for the same price. I love it. I saw a dealer at a gun show trying to get $750 for the same one in much worse shape, mine is nearly flawless. Definately a good buy

I have a 1989 vinatage west german P220. I love it, everyone who shoots it loves it! Two buddies of mine have purchased west german P220's after shooting mine. Congrats on your new aquisition!

Yes, this disease called Signess is pretty easy to catch. Once you've got one you want many more. Mine started with a P229 SCT 9mm about 5 months ago and now this is my second. The holy grail is next! I have a X-Five Tactical on it's way from Top Gun Supply. I should have it tomorrow or Friday at the latest! Then I'll be set. Yea, right my little voice in the back of my head is saying. ;)

You did great, excellent choice. My 1995 220 has been perfect, except for the trigger return spring breaking. Might want to get a couple just in case.

I have three 9mm, a 22, 38 and have owned various other handguns. My friend says the Sig 220 is her favorite because "It's big and shoots a big bullet and I like the kick".

She finds my KelTec P11 too snappy.

BTW I paid $450 for mine about 4 years ago, when prices were saner.
