Picked up my new S&W today - Pics

OK, maybe I started a little big, but after buying several semi autos in the past year, I decided it was time to add some revolvers to the inventory.

I picked up this S&W .500 4" barrel yesterday and took it to the range today. This is the first time I've ever shot a revolver, I was amazed at how smooth the SA trigger is. I'm pleased with the groups considering my focus was primarily making sure I had a good grip on the firearm.

I've also got a 629 .44 4" on order that I'll be picking up mid-week. Hopefully a J or K frame .357 will be added in the next month or so.

The older my eyes get the more I appreciate the huge holes left in the target by the big bores.
